Connecting Teachers, Pedagogy and Educational Transformation
The broad research structure of TEIJPR recognises that effective teacher education is influenced by pedagogy, curriculum, psychology, technology, assessment, institutional leadership, social context, educational philosophy and policy. The journal therefore supports interdisciplinary inquiry where these areas contribute meaningfully to understanding teachers, teaching, learning and educational improvement.
Although a wide range of related educational fields is represented, the journal's distinctive scholarly orientation remains centred upon teacher education, pedagogical research and the preparation of teachers for contemporary and future educational environments.
Research Areas Are Broad but Academically Connected
The areas identified on this page represent the principal and complementary research interests of TEIJPR. The list is intended to provide clear guidance to authors while allowing appropriate consideration of emerging and specialised educational research.
A topic not explicitly listed may also be considered where it demonstrates a clear scholarly relationship with teacher education, teaching-learning, pedagogical research, teacher development, educational practice or emerging educational futures.
The editorial team retains responsibility for determining whether individual submissions are sufficiently aligned with the academic aims, scope and research priorities of the journal.
